La morte improvvisa di Marcello Marini, 41 anni, tecnico di laboratorio del Dipartimento di Chimica e Chimica Industriale - scomparso alcuni giorni fa sul luogo di lavoro davanti ai colleghi, che hanno fatto di tutto per salvargli la vita - ha gettato nel dolore la comunità accademica dell'Università di Pisa, che si stringe tutta intorno alla moglie e ai due figli. "Alle esequie di Marcello - ha detto il rettore Paolo Mancarella - ho constatato quanto fossero profondi i sentimenti di partecipazione e commozione per questa perdita assurda, che colpisce così gravemente la nostra collettività". Pisano e grande tifoso della squadra della sua città, Marcello Marini si era distinto per il costante impegno nel sociale, come volontario nei Vigili del Fuoco e alla Misericordia.
Pubblichiamo di seguito il Ricordo di Marcello, scritto dai colleghi del Dipartimento, che condividevano con lui il lavoro e la frequentazione quotidiana.

Marcello Marini ci ha lasciati lo scorso 3 gennaio improvvisamente dal suo posto di lavoro, il Dipartimento di Chimica e Chimica Industriale. Una perdita improvvisa e devastante considerata la sua giovane età. Marcello era un collega conosciuto per il suo impegno nel volontariato, per le competenze maturate proprio durante il suo costante impegno civile nelle associazioni di volontariato e come ausiliario dei Vigili del Fuoco. Impegno che più e più volte lo ha visto coinvolto nelle situazioni di emergenza e nelle catastrofi naturali. Impegno e disponibilità a trasferire le sue competenze e la sua attenzione che ha sempre manifestato a chi lo ha conosciuto da vicino.

In questa drammatica circostanza i colleghi di Marcello, oltre al dolore e alla costernazione, si stringono in un abbraccio alla famiglia, alla moglie e ai piccoli figli per la perdita incommensurabile che hanno dovuto patire.

Il 10 gennaio è scomparso Graziano Arrighetti, professore emerito di Letteratura greca dell’Università di Pisa.

Nato a Firenze nel 1928, tra il 1947 e il 1951 ha studiato presso l'Università di Pisa e la Scuola Normale Superiore. È stato allievo di Giorgio Pasquali. Tra il 1951 e il 1953 si è perfezionato presso l’Istituto italiano per gli studi storici. Dal 1956 ha insegnato presso la facoltà di Lettere e Filosofia dell'Università di Pisa, prima come assistente in Grammatica greca e latina, poi dal 1969 come professore ordinario di Letteratura greca, fino al pensionamento nel 2001.

Nell’anno accademico 2006/2007 è stato nominato Professore emerito. È stato direttore dell'ex Istituto di Filologia greca dal 1976 al 1978 e direttore del dipartimento di Filologia classica dal 1986 al 1988. Nel 1981 è stato insignito dell’Ordine del Cherubino.

Tra le sue edizioni più volte ristampate si ricordano quella delle Opere di Epicuro e di Esiodo. Tra i suoi principali interessi scientifici c'era anche la Papirologia, materia che per lui era una passione, oltre che un insegnamento a cui si è dedicato per molti anni.

Nel 1998 è stato nominato socio dell’Accademia delle Scienze di Göttingen e membro dell’Institute for Advanced Study di Princeton.

La salma del defunto sarà esposta alla Misericordia in via Pietrasantina (dalle 8 alle 19.45) fino al giorno dei funerali, che si terranno venerdì 13 gennaio, alle ore 10.30, presso lo stesso cimitero della Misericordia di via Pietrasantina.

Qui di seguito pubblichiamo un ricordo di Mauro Tulli, professore di Lingua e Letteratura greca del nostro Ateneo.

È scomparso il 10 gennaio Graziano Arrighetti, allievo di Giorgio Pasquali, ascoltato nei seminari della Scuola Normale, professore di Letteratura Greca nel nostro Ateneo, membro dell’Accademia di Göttingen, emerito presso il Dipartimento di Filologia, Letteratura e Linguistica. Il suo nome per lo più è ricordato per l'edizione di Epicuro presso Einaudi, del 1960 e del 1973, l'edizione che ancor oggi costituisce la base canonica, in ogni paese, per la ricerca su Epicuro. Palese risultato di tecnica impeccabile nel rapporto con tradizione antica e tradizione indiretta, l'edizione consente di uscire dal materiale assemblato da Usener per capire la produzione di Epicuro senza l'ombra spesso deformante proiettata nei secoli dalla scuola e dalla tradizione ostile. La vasta bibliografia su Epicuro ne dipende in modo sistematico e le pur non poche scoperte posteriori vi trovano la trama ineludibile di riferimento. La produzione di Epicuro ha stimolato la ricerca di Graziano Arrighetti anche nel periodo ultimo. Ne deriva più di un fondamentale saggio sul Peri Physeos e la militanza nel CISPE, il Centro di Napoli che gestisce il prezioso patrimonio di Ercolano ha spesso alimentato la ricostruzione del pensiero di Filodemo, nella tensione fra ortodossia e adeguamento al contesto culturale.

Ma il magistero di Giorgio Pasquali doveva dare frutti ben più grandi: filologia e storia. L'edizione di Satiro, la Vita di Euripide, è del 1964, volume XIII degli “Studi Classici e Orientali”. Corredata da un ampio commento, l'edizione costituisce l'inizio del rapporto di Graziano Arrighetti con la biografia greca, in particolare con la biografia del Peripato. Il gusto di Satiro e già di Cameleonte o di Ermippo per il possibile rispecchiamento della biografia di un autore nelle opere che offre, l’immagine di Euripide vestito di stracci perché vestito di stracci è il suo Telefo, nasce dalla concezione della mimesis, che ha spazio in Aristotele, che affiora già in Platone, che si annida nella commedia di Aristofane, che forse ha origine proprio nella svolta impressa da Esiodo al maturare della poetica, dopo l’Odissea, con il proemio della Teogonia, con la scena dell'investitura.

Un cammino verso la produzione arcaica, percorso per intero da Graziano Arrighetti con decine di contributi, con la rivendicazione ai protagonisti della tradizione classica di un impegno creativo sviluppato con fiera coscienza in funzione paideutica: contributi che alimentano il manuale sulla letteratura greca pubblicato nel 1989 da Laterza e che permettono di scorgere nella voce di Graziano Arrighetti un’espressione matura del neoumanesimo europeo. Il suo primo volume per la collana da lui diretta, pubblicato nel 1987, ne offre la rielaborazione critica, non certo la raccolta, e qui produzione poetica, erudizione, biografia s’intrecciano, per un panorama organico quanto esteso nel tempo, che da Omero giunge al commento di Didimo su Demostene. Ma, di nuovo verso la produzione arcaica: del 1998 è l'Esiodo, l'edizione per la "Pléiade" di Einaudi e Gallimard, con commento e saggi di valore imprescindibile, frutti di un lungo impegno che delinea di Esiodo il profilo di un autore pensoso, lontano da ogni tecnica d'improvvisazione, pronto invece per la riflessione sul testo di Omero, raffinatissima e decisiva per la produzione greca.

In palese, naturale intervallo con la ricerca su Epicuro, su Esiodo, sulla biografia e sulla mimesis, il confronto con la storia della filologia, le pagine su Wilamowitz, Schwartz, Usener, Jacoby, Comparetti, Gigante: al culmine il congresso di Roma, organizzato nel 1985 presso il CNR, con interventi di protagonisti assoluti della filologia mondiale. Nel periodo ultimo la ricerca di Graziano Arrighetti ci ha donato contributi con ritmo, se possibile, più serrato. Campo forse per eccellenza la concezione della storia, la ricerca sul rapporto fra la produzione poetica e il mito, nella prassi e nella teoria. Pindaro, il Pindaro frequentato per capire la dialettica fra la forza innovativa e il peso della convenzione. Ma soprattutto Platone, il Platone del Timeo e del Crizia, o la concezione di Aristotele nella Poetica, la concezione che guida nell'Athenaion Politeia la ricostruzione del passato.

Di nuovo decine di contributi costellano il cammino di Graziano Arrighetti e il suo secondo volume per la collana da lui diretta, pubblicato nel 2007, ne offre la rielaborazione critica, non certo la raccolta. È un'eredità intellettuale di altissimo profilo che senza dubbio lascerà un'ampia traccia nella storia degli studi e resterà per generazioni di allievi quale nutrimento di vita.
Mauro Tulli

Il 18 dicembre del 1961 l’Università di Pisa conferiva la prima laurea in Ingegneria elettronica a Bruno Pellegrini, diventato successivamente ordinario di Elettronica presso la facoltà di Ingegneria dell’Ateneo pisano e attualmente professore emerito presso il dipartimento di Ingegneria dell’Informazione. In occasione della ricorrenza del 55esimo anniversario dell’evento, la prorettrice vicaria Nicoletta De Francesco ha consegnato al professor Pellegrini un attestato del rettore durante una cerimonia organizzata per l’occasione presso il dipartimento di Ingegneria dell’Informazione. All’incontro hanno partecipato numerosi docenti del dipartimento, colleghi ed ex allievi del professor Pellegrini.

Dopo la consegna dell’attestato, il direttore del dipartimento, Giuseppe Anastasi, ha invitato il professor Pellegrini a tenere una breve lectio magistralis. Bruno Pellegrini si è detto onorato di ricevere il riconoscimento da parte del rettore e ha ripercorso le sue esperienze di docente e ricercatore durante i cinquantaquattro anni trascorsi presso il dipartimento, al quale si è detto “fiero di appartenere ancora”.

L’Innovation Award ECSEL premia per il secondo anno consecutivo un progetto di ricerca nel settore dell’elettronica per Industria 4.0 a cui partecipa l’Università di Pisa, attraverso il laboratorio SEED del Centro Servizi Logistici di Livorno e il dipartimento di Ingegneria dell’Informazione. ECSEL, il partenariato pubblico-privato per la leadership europea nel settore dell’elettronica (Joint Undertaking on Electronic Components and Systems for European Leadership), ha annunciato il premio a Roma, durante l’ultimo European Nanoelectronics Forum.

Il progetto premiato LAB4MEMS è dedicato alla prossima generazione di sistemi MEMS (micro-elettro meccanici) avanzati, che integrano materiali piezoelettrici e magnetici per la microfabbricazione in tre dimensioni e per lo sviluppo una nuova generazione di sensori e attuatori intelligenti. “La motivazione del premio riconosce l’importanza di queste tecnologie per applicazioni nel settore dei controlli industriali, dell’industria dell’automobile, degli edifici intelligenti”, spiega Francesco Pieri, docente del dipartimento di Ingegneria dell’Informazione.

Il progetto LAB4MEMS è coordinato da STMicroelectronics e include 20 partner industriali e accademici. L’Università di Pisa partecipa attraverso il consorzio interuniversitario per la nanoelettronica IUNET e ha responsabilità delle attività di progettazione di cristalli fononici ad attuazione piezoelettrica per la realizzazione di sensori di massa risonanti, per i quali ha recentemente sviluppato un metodo di progettazione presentato da Luca Luschi e coautori in un articolo sulla rivista IEEE Transactions on Electron Devices.

“C’è un legame tra LAB4MEMS e il progetto Energy to Smart Grid che ha ricevuto lo stesso premio l’anno scorso. Si tratta in entrambi i casi di tecnologie abilitanti per la trasformazione digitale dell’industria, la cosiddetta Industria 4.0 – sottolinea Giuseppe Iannaccone, docente del dipartimento di Ingegneria dell’Informazione – In entrambi i casi l’Università di Pisa riesce a essere presente nei progetti più innovativi e insieme ai maggiori gruppi industriali europei nel settore dell’elettronica”.

Il 2016 si è chiuso con un tris di riconoscimenti per i professionisti della Sezione dipartimentale di Chirurgia generale universitaria dell'Aoup (diretta dal professor Giulio Di Candio), in particolare per gli interventi mini invasivi con tecnica robotica e tecnologie ultra-moderne.
Al 27° congresso nazionale di Chirurgia dell'apparato digerente tenutosi a Roma, infatti, il dottor Simone Guadagni è stato premiato dalla commissione scientifica per un video di un intervento multi-organo e multi-quadrante effettuato a Pisa con il nuovo robot Da Vinci Xi ed il nuovo lettino operatorio wireless integrato.

Inoltre, in Corea, all'VIII Congresso mondiale della Clinical Robotic Surgery Association, il gruppo di ricerca guidato da Luca Morelli, professore associato di Chirurgia generale all'Università di Pisa e in forze nella medesima Sezione, è stato premiato per un lavoro sull'utilizzo delle ultimissime novità in tema di aggiornamento tecnologico, applicate alla resezione del retto per cancro.

Infine in Perù, al X Congresso internazionale di Chirurgia endoscopica a Lima, sempre il professor Morelli (nella foto) ha tenuto due Letture magistrali proprio sull'utilizzo delle nuove tecnologie in chirurgia colo-rettale e sulla formazione dei chirurghi attraverso l'utilizzo dei simulatori, venendo nominato, nell'occasione, anche membro onorario della società. L'occasione è stata utile anche per consolidare il gemellaggio attivo da anni tra l'Università di Pisa e l'Università Ricardo Palma di Lima, una delle più prestigiose dell'America Latina e per porre le basi per portare lo sviluppo tecnologico offerto dalla chirurgia robotica anche in Perù, dove da anni è attivo un impegno da parte del gruppo pisano, grazie anche al supporto della Fondazione Arpa (www.fondazionearpa.it) presieduta dal professor Franco Mosca

Luca Fanucci
Professor of Electronics at the Department of Information Engineering
Luca Fanucci graduated cum laude in Electronic Engineering from the University of Pisa in 1992 where he gained his Ph.D. in Information Engineering in 1996. From 1992 to 1996, he carried out research at the Department of Electrical Systems of the European Space Research and Technology Centre of the European Space Agency based in Noordwijk, Holland. From 1996 to 2004, he was a researcher for the National Research Council at the Centre for Radio Transmission in Pisa. Since 2004, he has been a professor of Electronics at the Department of Information Engineering, first an associate professor and then a full professor.

Institutional roles

Since 2011, Professor Fanucci has collaborated with the Unit for the Support and Integration of Students with Disabilities at the University of Pisa. Since 2016, he has been the Rector’s delegate for students with disabilities and LD. He has been a member of the Teaching Board for the doctorate course in Computer Engineering of the University of Pisa since 2007 and he has been the director of the National Laboratory AsTech (Assistive Technologies) of the National Inter University Consortium for Information Technology (CINI) since 2013.

Scientific and teaching activities

Professor Fanucci is head of teaching for the Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering and in Embedded Computing Engineering. His main research interests lie in the field of design technologies for integrated circuits and embedded systems, with particular emphasis on system-level design, hardware and software co-design, low power consumption and interface sensor processing systems. The main application areas are telecommunications, earth and space vehicles, medical systems and technological aids for disabled and elderly people. He is co-author of over 400 international journal and conference papers and co-inventor of more than 40 national and international patents or patents pending.
He has been the principal investigator for numerous regional and National projects financed on a competitive basis by the Tuscan Region, the Ministry for Research and Education, the National Research Council and the National Institute of Nuclear Physics. He was also the head scientist in numerous European Union projects on research and development platforms such as FP6, FP7, AAL, ARTEMISIA, ENIAC and H2020. He represents the Department of Information Engineering in the AAATE (Association for the Advancement of Assistive Technologies in Europe) and in the European initiatives EUROPRACTICE and ARTEMISIA (Advanced Research & Technology for EMbedded Intelligence and Systems Industry Association).
He has served on numerous technical committees at international conferences in the field of electronic system design. In particular, he was Program Chair of the DSD 2008 and DATE 2014 international conferences and General Chair of the DATE 2016 conference. He is the Associate Editor of the Elsevier Microprocessors and Microsystems (Embedded Hardware Design) journal, the IOS Press Technology and Disability journal and the IET Computers & Digital Techniques journal.

Leonardo Bertini
Professor of Mechanical Design and Machine Construction at the Department of Civil and Industrial Engineering
Leonardo Bertini graduated cum laude in Nuclear Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering at Pisa University in 1980. Immediately after his degree, he worked for three years as an engineer for two national companies, Nuovo Pignone, Florence and Costruzioni Metalliche FINSIDER, Leghorn. From 1984 to 1986, he followed the Ph.D. course in “Mechanics of Materials” at the University of Pisa and became a member of staff of the university in 1988. From 1992 to 1999, he was an associate professor and in 2000 became a full professor.

Institutional roles

Professor Bertini was vice president of the Council for the degree course in Mechanical Engineering from 2000 to 2002, president of the Council for the postgraduate degree course in Mechanical Engineering from 2003 to 2008, director of the Ph.D. School in Engineering “Leonardo da Vinci” from 2005 to 2009, vice dean of the Faculty of Engineering from 2009 to 2012 and expert member then full member of the Patents Committee of the University of Pisa. From 1993 to 2000, he was also a member of the Executive Committee of the Italian Association for Stress Analysis (AIAS), and from 1993 to 1997 was secretary and treasurer. From 2005 to 2007, he was the president of the association.

Scientific and teaching activities

From 1992 to the present, Professor Bertini has taught Machine Design, Computer Aided Design of Structures and Mechanical Construction Techniques for various degree courses in the Engineering area. Professor Bertini’s research interests have included; the fatigue behaviour of metals at high temperature and in corrosive environments and high average stress; fracture mechanics, both theoretical and experimental; the mechanics of composite materials; hydrogen weakening; the fatigue and resistance of welded joints; the measurement and modulation of states of auto tension; the behaviour of oil drilling blocks, for which full scale models have been developed from the original machines and used for scientific collaboration with Italian and foreign companies; the behaviour of continuously variable transmission CVT, for use in vehicles, in particular as regards performance.
Professor Bertini’s research has led to more than 130 research memos many of which have been published in the most prestigious international journals of this sector. His work has earned him the following recognition: AIAS Award (Italian Association for Stress Analysis) in 1992 and 2000; CEGB Prize (Central Electricity Generating Board) 2010, bestowed by the Editorial Board of the Journal of Strain Analysis for Engineering Design; SMAU Prize for Innovation 2016 attributed to the spin-off company of the University of Pisa, Letomec together with Electrolux.
Professor Bertini is the co-owner of two patents, “Device for the measurement of the mechanical properties of materials, in particular metal materials” and “Helios: Innovative automated system for the measurement of hydrogen content and the relative diffusion coefficient in materials and measuring instrument”.

Marco Raugi
Professor of Electrical Engineering at the Department of Energy, Systems, Territory, and Construction Engineering.

Marco Raugi graduated in Electronic Engineering from the University of Pisa in 1985 and gained his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the university in 1990. He has been a full professor of Electrical Engineering since 2000.

Incarichi istituzionali

Professor Raugi has been the delegate of the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Pisa for International Relations and the Socrates-Erasmus programme and president of the International Ph.D. in “Applied Electromagnetics in Electrical and Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, Smart Sensors and Nanotechnologies”. He has also been the director of the Department of Energy and Systems Engineering and subsequently the director of the Department of Energy, Systems, Territory, and Construction Engineering. At present, he belongs to the board of the national group for the coordination of the university scientific sector “Electrical Engineering” and he currently represents the University of Pisa in the EERA (European Energy Research Alliance).

Attività didattica e scientifica

Professor Raugi’s research activities centre around the numerical methods for the analysis of electromagnetic fields in linear and nonlinear media whose main applications have been in non destructive testing, electromagnetic compatibility in transmission lines and electromagnetic launchers. More recently, Professor Raugi has investigated computational intelligence applications to electrical engineering with particular focus on PowerLineCommunications and the SmartGrid. He is the author of over 200 papers in international journals and proceeedings of international conferences.

Professor Raugi was the principal scientific investigator at national level for the PRIN 2003 and 2007 programmes and the main coordinator of projects financed by Italian banking foundations (Caripi , CariLiv), by ENI, GERG and Italian PMI. He has also served as chairman and member of international conference committees (COMPUMAG, CEFC, EMC Zurich, ISPLC) and the author of invited lectures as well as the instructor of courses at international conferences (PIERS, ACES). He received the IEEE-Industry Application Society Melcher Paper Award 2002.

Walter Salvatore
Professor of Construction Techniques at the Department of Civil and Industrial Engineering.

Walter Salvatore was born in Nardò (Lecce) in 1966. He graduated in Civil Engineering from the University of Pisa in 1993 and gained a joint Ph.D. in Structural Engineering from the Universities of Florence, Bari, Genoa, Pisa and Udine in 1997. He was a researcher at the University of Pisa from 2002 and an associate professor there from 2011 to 2016 when he became a full professor.

Incarichi istituzionali

Since 2015 Professor Salvatore has been the president of the Joint Council for the Interclass Master’s degree in Building and Structural Engineering and for the Master’s degree in Hydraulic, Transportation and Territory Engineering. He has participated and continues to participate as an expert member in committees set up by the Superior Council of Public Works of the Ministry of Infrastructure for the drafting of technical regulations for anti-seismic construction design, the guidelines for the seismic classification of buildings and the reduction of seismic risk and the guidelines for the anti-seismic design of metallic structures.

Attività didattica e scientifica

Professor Salvatore holds courses in Construction in Earthquake-prone Areas and Foundation Structures for the Interclass Master’s Degree in Building and Structural Engineering of the University of Pisa and in Construction Techniques for the Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Environmental and Building Engineering.
Professor Salvatore’s research interests are in the field of anti-seismic construction and the reduction of seismic risk. In this field, he has elaborated on the subject of the design in steel and steel-concrete composite structures, developing structural systems for the dissipation of seismic energy. In the field of reinforced concrete structures, he is studying the development of Dual-Phase steel reinforcing bars for enhancing the capacity and durability of these structures. He has also faced the problems of the static safety and the seismic vulnerability of existing structures in stone and reinforced concrete as well as historic buildings, studying, therefore, techniques and intervention strategies to remediate their seismic deficiencies. Finally, he has recently collaborated on the development of new methodologies for the assessment of seismic risk of structures, based on a macroseismic approach, calibrated together with the Tuscan Region and that of Emilia Romagna.
At international level, Professor Salvatore is the coordinator of four research projects financed at European level. He was the principal investigator of the research unit at the University of Pisa for a further 12 international research projects; he was also the principal investigator of the research unit at the University of Pisa for five national research projects and more than 40 research contracts stipulated with public authorities and private enterprises. He has supervised and continues to supervise research projects as an independent expert at national and international level. In particular, since 2006, he has been an independent expert member, nominated by the Research Directorate-General, Directorate G – Industrial Technologies of the European Commission, for the assessment and monitoring of research projects financed by the RFCS: Research Fund for Coal and Steel and the ECSC: European Committee for Coal and Steel.

Vincenzo Gervasi

Professor of Computer Science at the Department of Computer Science.
He graduated in Computer Science from the University of Pisa in 1993. After a period of experience in the industrial sector, he returned to the academic world to gain his Ph.D. in Computer Science in 2000 and then worked as a researcher until 2014 when he became an associate professor at the Department of Computer Science. Since 2004, he has been an Honorary Associate at the University of Technology in Sydney.

Alongside his teaching and research activities, he has been active in the field of management and services, such as participating in the Presidential Committee of the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Natural Sciences, in the Joint Committee of the Department of Computer Science, in the Management Committee of the “L. Fibonacci” Learning Hub. In 2000, along with Franco Alberto Cardillo he elaborated the software system used to manage the teaching spaces of the university. Since then he has been in charge of monitoring and optimizing the teaching spaces. Since 2012, he has been a member of the Room Committee of the university, assigned by the rector.

Teaching and research activities

Vincenzo Gervasi has carried out a variety of teaching activities in different study courses, principally in the Department of Computer Science, but also in the Departments of Mathematics, Geosciences and Philology, Literature and Linguistics as well as in the Naval Academy. He has also held doctoral courses both at the University of Pisa and abroad and he has been a supervisor or co-supervisor of eight Ph.Ds. as well as being a member of the doctoral committee for other universities. Since 2012, he has been the Director of the post-graduate course in Mobile Application Development. He also deals with scientific divulgation both in the editorial field (he is the author of five teaching manuals and dozens of informative papers), and through his participation at events such as the Internet Festival or initiatives linked to schools. He also holds professional training and refreshment courses for companies.
Vincenzo Gervasi’s research interests rotate around the cognitive aspects of Software Engineering. In this field, numerous related branches have developed which have led him to work on themes such as the processing of natural language, knowledge representation and reasoning, non monotonic logic, formal methods and specification language, and more recently techniques of artificial intelligence and automated learning. Some strands then evolved towards the definition of languages for software, software tracing and bio inspired distributed systems. The results of this research are documented in over 100 international publications. The publications are accompanied by intense organization and participation in conferences including the role of Program Chair and Steering Committee in principal conferences of the sector, as well as the participation in national and international projects and applied research projects (with contracts from third party companies).
